Former waiter and construction worker. Yard and cinderblock house decorated with sculpted animals, devils and human figures, butterflies and dogs. Inspired by Bible and nature. Featured in Jargon Society’s Southern Visionary Folk Artists show. PBS show “The Mind’s Eye: Black Visionary Art in America” (1987): part of American Masters series.
