Artistic creativity knows no borders. Inspired individuals have created art environments throughout Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia , as well as North and South America. Because Seymour Rosen lived and worked in California, the SPACES archive contains documentation of a disproportionate number of environments in the West and the rest of the U.S. The archive continues to grow and include an increasing number of international recrods. Jo Farb Hernández, the director of SPACES, is completing documentation of dozens of art environments in Spain alone.
