Umberto Gibello, Italian Caves

Underground complex of tunnels, wells, shrines, gallery, houses, one cave over 500’ long.   Used native gypsum rock in building.  Large enough to walk through without stooping or bending.  From Colorado Hist. Soc. 7/81.
